How To Really Make Money? ~No Foolishness (Part 1)

Do you really want to know how to make money? No, no I'm not talking about filling out surveys, going to catchy and risky sites to learn how to invest in penny stocks, or donating your organs if that is what your thinking, and no I'm not talking about walking dogs, babysitting, tutoring, or painting. There are a quite a few wholesome number of ways  to get started making money and I will list some but not all in this blog. Please come back for Part 2 tomorrow.

One word. YouTube! No, I'm not suggesting making YouTube videos, but watch informational videos on YouTube to learn how to make, do, or profit from things. You can learn anything from how to be a plumber to becoming a successful book writer on YouTube. Slowly but surely, I first learned how to program by watching a great series of channels teaching me how to program named thenewboston (http://www.youtube.com/thenewboston) and Derek Banas (http://www.youtube.com/derekbanas). What is programming? You know the little browser thingy you're using right now to view my site? The whole thing your using is software that had to be programmed. Programs are anything and everything from Spotify to Microsoft Word to the Apple Store and Angry Birds games. Programming is the nerdy code behind everything. If you are interested in making killer applications, games, or even websites and have all of your friends boasting at you like your some magical genius, watch all their videos and figure out how to program yourself. It feels good walking around knowing you can make apps, games, and websites while all your friends can do is boggle at how you did it. Not everyone knows that applications, websites, and games can get them paid. You can get paid anywhere from $50 for doing a real simple website, game, or app to $500/hr or 25k per app, game, or website made. Releasing an application or game on any market (especially Windows because they have few apps and games------>look at previous blog Poor Windows Phones :( ) You can be either professional or a complete amateur, although all that matters is what better way to get started then getting started with the basics. Need help setting up your websites, apps, or games or more instructions in programming just contact me personally @ warrenb.innovation@gmail.com. I'll help you.

Do you have a certain creative touch? Have you considered making t-shirts online? Yes, there is a market for custom made t-shirts online. Heck! I'll even buy a custom made t-shirt for the right price and style. Go to http://www.spreadshirt.com/ and build your own design using the custom made pictures or your own designs. After a while you could raise enough money to buy your own shirts and printing press. You could even come out with your own clothing line if you build yourself up to some hype in the t-shirt market. People will be walking around with your brand like as if it were the hottest thing out. All you need is some creativity and endurance and soon enough you could dominate making anywhere from a $1 to $5 per shirt sold.

Lastly, I have another place for you. You could always become a online freelancer. What is a freelancer? A online freelancer is a person who is self-employed and is not committed to a particular online employer long task. They can easily jump from one labor force to another meaning you can work for anyone they want on whatever they want. If you find yourself pretty good at writing articles, making graphics, coding, translating, making PowerPoint presentations, and more you should check out http://www.freelancer.com/ or https://www.elance.com/. I am sure you might find something of interest to you. Just browse through the projects section. Online freelancers can make anywhere from $1 to 1k depending on the job and intensity.

Hope you got your daily byte of information today! :D

Poor Windows Phone :(

Occasionally, I grab my Windows Phone, launch the store, download unknown applications, and fire up one application after another just to compare. Where are all the apps? No Google Play! No Temple Run 2! No official Instagram! This is nonsense! The $7.2 billion deal with Nokia may go to waste because not too many people are buying Windows Phones. Although I have to say that Nokia is making their phone hardware extremely irresistible putting powerful CPUs, Black AMOLED displays, Carl Zeiss lens, and more of the top of the line technologies into these Windows Phones, the phone is still lacking and not fully utilizing the hardware.

I have nothing personal against Nokia's phones because all they're missing is a good OS. Microsoft seriously needs to rethink their strategy. They are attracting fewer serious application designers and adopting more weird applications no one uses. Though Nokia has designed some of the coolest applications on the phone such as augmented reality maps,  top of the line photo and video editing apps, as well as its own music store, they are somewhat the only great apps.

Regardless, Windows Phone users need more, and just because it is Nokia does not change the fact that we still have had the same top free apps for the past year. People only hate the phones because they do not have many good applications, but their games seem to be taking a different approach. The games Microsoft is pulling is coming from some XBOX titles, but it still doesn't change the fact that I can't get all the same apps that my friends can get on their Android and Apple phones. The funny thing is that it doesn't seem like the app market is progressing at all, but it does leave a lot of room for undeveloped apps to hit the market and make money from what few Windows Phone users. Seriously, if anyone were to make or come out with some cool apps on the Windows Phone it is bound to be a instant hit because nothing else is.
